Welcome to Wallitsch and Iacobelli
Our firm concentrates exclusively on domestic relations issues, including divorce, custody, equitable distribution, support, separation agreements, pos-nuptial agreement and pre-nuptial agreements.
Our philosophy is to assist clients in dissolving a relationship, recognizing that this requires this firm to meet the legal, social, financial and psychological needs of each client and to consider the impact on the children of the relationship. Our firm strives to treat each client as an individual with specific needs and to recognize that those needs go beyond the legal challenges that each party faces in dissolving a relationship.
However, we request that the client also recognize that while keeping a relationship alive requires constant effort, dissolving a relationship requires menial, mental and legal labor, which is both time-consuming and costly in terms of attorney’s fees.
Given the availability that the Internet offers clients as a resource, our firm strives to involve the client in preparing a schedule of assets to identify whether their assets are marital or non-marital and also to establish a value of those assets, which is key to developing a strategy for distribution.
This firm offers a handbook, forms, and uses the method of docket control to ensure that the cases are worked on a timely basis. However, just as each relationship depends upon the effort that each party brings to the relationship, the success of legally severing a relationship depends upon the effort that each client wants to put forth in assisting the lawyer.
While the following is not to be represented as legal advice, we have provided answers to frequently asked questions, as well as information relevant to domestic violence and child support.
